Candlewood Suites Charleston - Northwoods, an IHG Hotel

I Travel with my Job and have been at the Northwoods Location for 2 Months.Very Clean Property. Free Laundry always clean.Hallways And Lobby very Inviting! The Staff is consistently Professional and accommodating. Cannot forget Grill and Pavillion. Nice to relax after work! Will not Regret Booking!

Had a great time. Staff was amazing. Check in and out was a breeze. The room was great. Love having the kitchen. Location was great, within walking of so much and driving time in minutes of alot. I would highly recommend the place.

Walked inside Candlewood and talked to Ms.Gail , she was very helpful with rates and showed me how much she loved working at this hotel, made me feel like home. Services was amazing if I could stay in for a week or longer then I would .. if anybody needed to stay in Charleston area then I would visit Ms. G at Candlewood suites ..

Ms Gail at the front desk is so welcoming and kind! I have been to A lot of hotels and the front desk staff either makes or breaks the overall feel and she was so wonderful! 5 out of 5 !

I can't even begin to express how enjoyable the staff made our experience. In the end of July, my family experienced temporary homelessness due to a rental property we were renting becoming inhabitable for a short period of time (around 2 weeks). While work was being done in the home, we needed somewhere to stay and quick since we just moved to SC and had no family or friends around. Unfortunately, before we found Candlewood Suites, we stayed at what I can only describe as "roach motel". When we found Candlewood, the experience was vastly different. Our room smelled like someone had actually cleaned it, like it wasn't just a quick turn over. It smelled and looked clean, like someone took their time. I nearly cried from relief. The beds were comfortable; there's literal kitchens in the rooms. They are pet friendly, and not in the way that they say pets are allowed - in the way that they treat your pets like they're guests too! When our stay unfortunately got extended, not once - not twice - not even three times, but four times, the staff at Candlewood worked with us to ensure we could stay in the same room because they knew what we were going through in our personal lives. They took the time to listen to our situation, and went above and beyond for us to ensure our stay ran as smooth as possible. At one point, one of the staff members personally hand delivered towels to our room at 11:30 pm because when we requested them, they were still being cleaned. One person particular my family and I had the pleasure of dealing with during our stay was Kennedy. She is a literal god-send. She was always polite, always had a smile on her face, and went the extra mile to ensure my family and I were comfortable and happy during our stay. Because of Kennedy, we will be recommending this hotel to our family and friends going forward. This hotel is blessed to have Kennedy on their team, and unfortunately I don't have anyone else's names on the staff but this staff is literally stellar. If I ever got into a situation where I needed someplace to stay again, it would 100% be with Candlewood. This is the second time in my life that we've stayed with an IHG hotel, and both times have been a pleasure. 10/10 recommend.

This was one of the most insulated hotel, for the amount of guests that were there the sound proofing was awesome. There was an issue at check in but Ms Gail Williams and the GM Michael Nolan were both very professional and helpful in resolving the problem quickly.

This location is great! The staff is very helpful and understanding. The price is right. I do feel that some extra room cleaning for odor would be nice as the room i was in didnt have great ventilation in the bathroom for humidity.

Ms. Gal is my favorite of all honestly she gives as you need and doesn’t waste anytime doing so. She been great to us Mississippi guys since the very day we got here. So yes I give her 10 out of 10!!!
